It indicates the concentration over the range 0-25% and provides a 4-20mA output signal proportional to the percent oxygen. The instrument continuously monitors a sample gas forced through the instrument under its own pressure. Oxygen is sensed by an amperometric electrochemical cell suitable for use in an acid-gas environment.  A plug-in charcoal scrubber removes H2S from the incoming sample to protect the O2 sensor.
